ASM 2016: Hospitals Not At Top of List to Blame in Clostridium Difficile Transmission

In this video clip taken at ASM Microbe 2016, Mark Wilcox, MD, of the University of Leeds discusses how Clostridium difficile is transmitted in the community and some recent in vitro data looking at different medications for this problematic infection. 

Dr Wilcox explained to Infectious Disease Advisor’s Michael Tapper, MD, that “Clostridium difficile appears to be transmitted by multiple routes, and the importance of those routes varies according to setting.”
